Gleneagles Hospitals:

Thank you for reaching out to Gleneagles Hospitals, India. I’m Aditya from the International Patient Care Team. We’ve received your enquiry and are here to help you with information on doctors, appointments, treatments, or any medical assistance you need. Kindly respond to this message or share a suitable time for us to connect.

Gleneagles Hospitals:

Hope you’re doing well. Just following up on your medical enquiry submitted through our online platform — we received your query and we’ve been trying to reach you but haven’t received a response yet.

Patient:

Hi, I just replied to the other number.

Gleneagles Hospitals:

Sir we can have a conversation here.

Patient:

Thank you for your reply. Your questions are largely answered in my initial query. I have no preferred location. At this stage I’m just checking the availability of DM in my size.

I am expat in Cambodia looking for total hip replacement. My templating x-rays require 61-64mm Dual Mobility Acetabular Cups. These sizes are not available in Cambodia. Could you please confirm if your hospital stocks Western manufactured dual mobility in the jumbo sizes? I am also looking for a surgeon who uses a tissue sparing minimally invasive approach.

Gleneagles Hospitals:

Could you please let us know are you looking for direct appointment /paid online consultation?

Patient:

The question is in my initial query. I need to check if there is the DM available in my size to know if I can proceed, so it’s a simple question initially. Obviously, a paid consultation will be necessary before travel, once I know the specific stock.

Gleneagles Hospitals:

Could you kindly share the medical reports in PDF format at your earliest convenience and we can proceed with a paid online consultation.

Patient:

I need to know if you have the size I need. I’m not paying for that basic information.

Gleneagles Hospitals:

sure, we will let you know sir

[The hospital sent 7 identical follow-up requests for medical reports in PDF format between 23/02 and 27/02]
Patient:

You already have my templating X-rays from my initial enquiry. I do not need a medical review right now; I need an inventory check. You already agreed earlier to answer this basic question here.

Please confirm if you have 61mm–64mm Western-manufactured Dual Mobility cups (e.g., Stryker or Smith & Nephew) in stock. Which specific brands do you carry in these jumbo sizes?

Gleneagles Hospitals:

Could you please share clear, scanned copies of the medical reports in PDF format? we need complete medical reports.

Patient:

You’ve already agreed to answer this simple question.

Gleneagles Hospitals:

Our doctor’s team can assist you better regarding the treatment with the help of your medical reports. Kindly do share your medical reports. Thankyou.

Patient:

I’m not asking the medical team to assist me at this point; it’s a simple inventory check which you already agreed to answer. If it’s not in stock nor obtainable then I’m saving that time by not proceeding.

Gleneagles Hospitals:

We get it on consignment basis as and when required… Can get Stryker or smith nephew jumbo cups upto 68/70 with full inventory within 5 days if confirmed surgery.

Patient:

Dual mobility?

Gleneagles Hospitals:

Yes.

Patient:

Thank you. I appreciate that straight answer.

Gleneagles Hospitals:

okay sir.
